Fundraising
This was a great year for Aspire’s fundraising. The Aspire Channel Swim reached an all time record of £357,000 with well over 6,500 people throughout the country taking part in the event. We also had a impressive year for running with our biggest team ever in the London Marathon, a very successful fundraising team at the Great North Run and our first ever representation at the Great Manchester Run. Really going that extra mile (in more ways than one) George Philips and Rob Roy ran across the Gobi desert raising a magnificent £40,000 for Aspire!
We are also incredibly grateful to have received the continued support of Porters Park Golf Club and the Motor Accident Solicitors Society.
Next year Aspire is looking to expand our fundraising events with our Sports Quiz Dinner being exported to Glasgow and a new cycling event being launched in the Stanmore area. We also hope to continue developing partnerships with all the people and companies that have generously supported us throughout the years. Thank you.
