Active Assistance

Active Assistance are sponsoring the upgrade of Aspire's Assistive Technology facilities in Spinal Injury Centres across the UK and Ireland. Active Assistance is a UK based care agency that provides a live-in care service for physically disabled adults, specialising in supporting people with spinal cord injuries. 

 

AKW Medicare

AKW MediCare is the leading supplier of showering, kitchen and daily living products for the elderly and disabled. With extensive experience in the special needs market they design and manufacture products specifically with the end user in mind. AKW are pleased to be sponsoring new Aspire uniforms and offer support where possible within the supported housing initiative.

 

Anthony Gold

This law firm sponsored the adaptation of Aspire’s first Supported House in the Midlands. Jenny Kennedy, a Partner and catastrophic injury claims specialist, says, "We are proud of our longstanding support for the work of Aspire. Beatability

Beatability specialise in the supply and/or installation of bathroom, kitchen and assistive equipment for anyone with independence needs. They adapt and fit all of our supported houses at discounted rates and have recently nominated us as their chosen Charity of the Year. 

They have also sponsored the production of one of our services brochures, ‘Aspire Housing’, available to our service users and all relevant clinical practitioners.

Irwin Mitchell

This law firm, have generously supported our Assistive Technology facilities. Most recently they have sponsored the production of 500 memory sticks. Patients use the memory sticks to record their voice files which is necessary for using voice recognition software.

 

Lil-lets

Lil-lets are the leading brand of non-applicator tampons in the UK and are used by over 2 million women. Lil-lets tampons are available in applicator and non-applicator formats and because they expand widthways, help to prevent leaks and give women the freedom to swim every day of the month.

Lil-lets sponsor the Aspire Channel Swim, helping recruit women to participate in the fundraising event in support of the charity.

 

Maru

This swimwear manufacturer sponsor our biggest challenge event – the Aspire Channel Swim.  Maru have been proud supporters of the event since 2004.

 

Penningtons

This law firm have sponsored the production of two of Aspire’s Services brochures, ‘Aspire Independent Living’ and ‘Aspire Human Needs Fund’.  The brochures are available to service users as well as all relevant clinical practitioners.
