Aspire run RLSS pool lifeguard & First Aid at Work courses at various times throughout the year

Pool Lifeguard pre-requisites:

Candidates must be 16 years or over, physically fit, able to swim, have good vision & hearing.

It is recommended that candidates can achieve at least 100 metres of continuous swimming on both a front crawl and backstroke In addition they should be able to swim 50 metres within 60 seconds and submerge to a depth of 1.5 metres.

FAW course:

HSE approved First Aid at Work course (FAW) . All successful students will be issued an FAW certificate lasting for 3 years. This FAW course covers all aspects of basic life support including CPR, bleeding, unconsciousness, choking, head injuries, sprains and strains and a vast range of First Aid conditions that you may experience in the workplace.
