We can consider applications from people who:

  • have a spinal cord injury
  • and are a UK or EU Citizen, with indefinite leave to remain or with full refugee status.

All grants must be for the benefit of the person with SCI.

Payment will be made direct to the provider of the item and all applicants will be required to complete a means test form.

Aspire employs a Specialist regarding maximising income and a Money Matters check is required as part of your application.

Aspire will not consider funding an item already in the applicant's possession, nor one for which the applicant has already placed an order.

Aspire will not consider applications where statutory provision has not first been explored (Wheelchair Services assessment completed and Access to Work contacted if applicable)

At this time we cannot consider applications for sports wheelchairs or other equipment.

Further guidelines are available here, please read them before starting your application.

Thanks to the Motability Foundation for making this service possible.
