Fundraiser of the Month
Are we Fundraisers, or are we dancers?
Both in the case of the Birmingham University dance Society who waltz away with the title of Fundraiser of the Month in March. Their annual dance presentation, ‘Step Back in Time’, saw an extremely talented cast perform a series of dances representing historical events, not forgetting a leap forward to look at the future.
They chose Aspire as the charity to benefit because the uncle of one of the committee has a spinal cord injury. Various fundraising events held during the four days they performed have raised £1,000 for Aspire – a fantastic total thanks to the efforts of all involved and the generosity of the audience.

Rachel Stass, one of the committee commented that ‘knowing the money we raised would make a significant difference to the work of Aspire was really important to us – all those £1’s really do add up!’
