The Aspire Bunbury Saracens Cricket Day

The Aspire Celebrity Cricket match was held on Sunday 2nd August and it was a scorcher of a day! The Bunbury’s pulled it out of the bag again this year, securing the win against the mighty Saracens team led by Chairman Nigel Wray. David English, Bunbury captain, said “this is always a great day and we were delighted to be here to help support such a fantastic charity!”
Over 300 people where part of the VIP marquee and around 300 members of the public turned out in force to watch the game. There were picnics, face-painting, auction and raffle prizes along with some beautiful sunshine and of course a great game of cricket, making this another perfect day.
All of the funds raised from the game went to Aspire and we raised a staggering £14,000! So, a HUGE thanks to all those who supported the day and making it such a success.
