Trusts and Foundations

Income from charitable trusts and foundations is extremely important to Aspire. 

Where required, grants can be ring-fenced towards funding all or part of one of the charity's specific programmes.  We have a range of exciting projects throughout the UK that could appeal to national and local trusts.

With £1.6 million needed for the year, your support is truly appreciated.  We would be delighted to invite trusts to visit an Aspire project to see the services and the major issues involved, how their money is being spent or discuss our current funding needs.

Examples of our current funding Wish list:

  • £150 will provide voice-recognition software for one spinally injured person.
  • £350 will provide one year's Broadband connection for one of Aspire's supported houses.
  • £2500 will buy a made to measure lightweight wheelchair.
  • £10,000 will fund the annual training costs of our team of Independent Living Advisors.
  • £25,000 will fund the adaptations, fixtures and fittings required for one of Aspire's supported houses.
