Aspire is proud to be nominated for JustGiving’s Charity of the Year – People’s Choice Award and we are delighted to announce we are a finalist in this category. We would like to say ‘thank you’ to all our supporters who nominated us and we hope we will do you all proud on the night!
Aspire has been working with JustGiving for 10 years and every year we raise more and more money online through their website. Aspire supporters can either set up a fundraising page on JustGiving, make a one-off donation or set up a direct debit. We are always eager to innovate and try out new ways of raising funds online and JustGiving have helped us do this. The most recent example being the JustGiving API on our Aspire Channel Swim website, which automatically sets up a JustGiving fundraising page when a swimmer registers for the event. This innovation has seen an increase in overall fundraising from our swimmers as well as making the process of collecting sponsorship much easier.
We are looking forward to working with JustGiving on many more innovations in the years to come. The Awards take place at Shoreditch Town Hall on Thursday 1stMarch so watch this space to see if we win!
