Congratulations to Liz McDonald who is our Star Fundraiser for April 2011. Liz raised a massive £1,820 by taking part in the Aspire Channel Swim and is this year's top individual fundraiser.

As her prize, Liz will have the opportunity to join our friends at SwimTrek on one of their European swimming holidays. The money that Liz and all our amazing Channel swimmers have raised, £333,388 so far and counting, will help Aspire to change the lives of people living with a spinal injury by offering choice, opportunity and independence.

Congratulations to Clara Whitehead who sent in this fantastic picture, above, of her sitting in the engine of an aeroplane. Clara receives the top prize of a waterproof camera! Special mention goes to Andrew Gould, who was snapped in his swim hat with some of the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Team Edmans, who wore their hats to their graduation with pride.
