Great Manchester Run
Ed Fletcher is taking part in the Great Manchester Run later this month to raise funds and awareness for Aspire. Ed has been a big supporter of ours ever since a motorbike accident left him with a spinal cord injury.

The accident left me a full time wheelchair user. I underwent rehabilitation at the Stanmore Spinal Injuries Centre where I first came across Aspire. Thanks to their excellent work I was able to return to work, as a solicitor, straightaway. It’s great that I can now give something back and help to raise the funds that will go towards helping other people with spinal injuries regain their independence.
Ed will be joined on the start line by a team of his colleagues who he has persuaded to join him. For Ed himself, the event will act as a great warm up to the British Disabled Triathlon Championships and he’ll be using the Manchester Run to trial his new racing wheelchair.
If you’d like to sponsor Ed and his team, you can do so at www.justgiving.com/fletchersrun. Alternatively, you might like to copy their determination and sign up for one of our running events yourself.
