Shoosmiths break ground in Buckingham

Aspire have ‘broken ground’ on what is soon to be the 20th Aspire House.  We went to visit the building site in Buckingham with law firm Shoosmiths who are generously funding the adaptation and furnishing of our latest property.

Judith Dorkins from Shoosmiths said, “This is a fantastic project and quite an unusual one. We chose to support Aspire because much of the work it does has a connection with the personal injury work we complete on behalf of our clients. We’re delighted to be involved with a charity that fully focuses on enabling people to regain their independence after an injury, and we’re hoping that our efforts will make a significant difference to such a positive cause."

Shoosmiths National Personal Injury team have developed a jam-packed itinerary of fundraising to get everyone involved from sweepstakes to Wii competitions. A number of the team have also volunteered to do a relay, cycling from their office in Basingstoke to their offices in Northampton and Birmingham. Even the Shoosmiths Rugby team have got involved and have bravely agreed to play wheelchair rugby against the London Wheelchair Rugby Team.  Watch this space for details of the game…
