Aspire National Training Centre Wins Awards
The Aspire National Training Centre is well known as Europe's first fully integrated training venue, catering to disabled and non-disabled people alike. We've worked hard to ensure that our facilities are open to, and used by, all members of society and are rightly proud of our work.. So it was especially pleasing when we were recognised for our achievements at the recent Inclusive Fitness Initiative Awards.
The ceremony, held in Birmingham, saw Aspire carry off awards for our inclusive marketing and our work with volunteers, some of whom were in Birmingham to collect the honours.

The IFI supports the leisure industry to become more inclusive, and Aspire have worked closely with them since 2005. Perhaps most pleasing was the fact that there were so many entries and such strong competition for the top prizes - clearly, much of the industry is taking notice of the need to take an integrated approach to their work.
For Tasha Dyson, Aspire's Head of Operations, the awards were a great acknowledgement of the Charity's efforts:
We are thrilled to have won two awards from the IFI - it's testimony not just to the way we have designed and built our Centre, but also to the hard work of the staff and the support we provide to both them and our customers. Obviously, though, we won't be resting on our success and look forward to continuing to develop and improve to ensure we always offer a fantastic, fully integrated service.
