Minister for the Third Sector visits Aspire
Kevin Brennan, Minister for the Third Sector, recently visited Aspire to see for himself the work of the Charity and to discuss how we can work better with statutory services in the future.
Brian Carlin, Aspire's Chief Executive, took the Minister on a tour of the National Training Centre, highlighting many of the accessible features that we are so renowned for. During the tour the Minister had the chance to talk to Aspire staff and those who use our services, as well as a Spinal Centre Occupational Therapist who talked about how her team and the patients are already making good use of the facilities here.
With a view to expanding and improving the Services we offer, we were delighted to have the opportunity to have the Minister's input to our plans. We are looking forward to following up on this first meeting as those plans take shape and we'll be in regular contact with the Office of the Third Sector from now on.

I am keen to see more organisations enabled to take this approach.”
