Leading swimwear brand Zoggs has today announced that it is again the official Corporate Partner for the Aspire Channel Swim in 2015.

Now in its 16th year, a massive £ 4.5million has been raised for Aspire – supporting people with Spinal Cord Injury - since 1999.  This year, with the support of Zoggs promoting the swim in leisure centres nationwide, it is hoped even more will be raised for this fantastic cause.

The challenge to all swimmers is to swim the length of the English Channel over a period of 12 weeks in their local swimming pool from 14th September to 7th December 2015 and, unlike many other swims, there is no cost to enter apart from the normal fee for your swim session.

David Annand, UK Marketing and PR Manager at Zoggs said: “This is our 6th consecutive year of partnering the Aspire Channel Swim, demonstrating our commitment to promoting a more active and healthy lifestyle by encouraging everyone – whatever age, sex or ability – to take part in this challenge, to feel the benefits of regular swimming and, at the same time, raise much needed funds for those living with Spinal Cord Injury.”

Aspire’s Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Paul Parrish, added: “It is fantastic to have Zoggs on board again this year.  With their support, we hope that even more people will sign up for the 2015 Aspire Channel Swim, raising money which will help even more people with spinal cord injuries enjoy independence.”
