Campaigning
Aspire's campaigning work harnesses our vast experience and knowledge of the lives and needs of people with spinal cord injuries to influence public policy, practice and perception.

The impact of our practical work is, and always has been, immense and massively benefits those individuals who use our services. By using these practical, hands on experiences to identify failures in the statutory services - and more importantly to provide solutions to those problems - we can look to ensure that our work has very real benefits for each and every one of the 40,000 people in the UK with a spinal cord injury.
Lobbying Parliament and government is a vital aspect of our campaigning work, though it actually encompasses so much more; feeding our expertise and opinions into the campaigns of other organisations, advising companies who are working with disabled people and securing media and public recognition of the issues are all equally important.
