Brian CarlinPrior to working in the charity sector, Brian worked in Contract Leisure Management and has also been a part-time post graduate business lecturer. This followed a period of service with the Royal Marines and an MBA at Anglia Polytechnic University.
In 2001, Brian was appointed to Chief Executive of Aspire, where he has combined his experience in the Fitness Sector and his business pedigree to lead the charity through a period of massive expansion. Brian is very actively involved in the third sector and currently serves on the Board as Chairman of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity and The British Triathlon Foundation Trust. In addition to this he is a Longford Trust Mentor and supports former prisoners through higher education.  He is also a representative on steering groups with UCL and Loughborough Universities and was a founding partner of Aspire Law. 
Brian is also a keen cyclist and triathlete and since 2010 has been selected every year for the GB Age Group Long Distance Triathlon World and European Championship Squads.
