Last week we were finally able to hold our much anticipated 20^th anniversary Sports Quiz Dinner in London, which had been postponed three times since spring 2020 due to the pandemic.  We are delighted to announce that it raised £132,000 to support people with Spinal Cord Injury.  The evening was hosted by Aspire's President John Inverdale and featured our legendary sports quiz, with questions set by BBC Radio 5 Live's Rob Nothman.  Congratulations to the winning team - PNC Business Credit.

Our speaker was the inspiring Paula Craig, who spoke about how she was injured 20 years ago, how living in an Aspire house helped her get back to living independently and all she has achieved since then, including her attempt this year to become the first person with a complete spinal cord injury to swim the Channel without a wetsuit.

Paul Parrish, Aspire's Director of Fundraising & Marketing, says, "It has been a long road to our 20^th Sports Quiz Dinner, following three cancellations, but it was great to see our guests finally back at Lord’s, having so much fun they didn’t want to leave at the end of the night!  We'd like to thank everybody who attended the event for their generosity in playing our Heads and Tails game, buying raffle tickets, donating and bidding in the auctions - particularly the two bidders who compelled John Inverdale to offer an additional day out with him at the All England Club! We look forward to seeing all our guests again at our 21st Sports Quiz Dinner on 21st April.”
