Last week we held our 21^st anniversary Sports Quiz Dinner in London, raising a fantastic £108,000. to support people with Spinal Cord Injury.  The evening was hosted by Aspire's President John Inverdale who was presented with his 20 year service award with thanks from Aspire’s CEO Brian Carlin.

Following a drinks reception in the glorious sunshine, guests were served a delicious three course meal and took part in our legendary sports quiz, with questions set by BBC Radio 5 Live’s Rob Nothman. Congratulations to the winning team on the Headingley table, Pinsent Masons LLP.

The speaker was Tom Matthews who talked about how living in an Aspire house when he was injured at the age of 16 allowed him to leave hospital and how he took up table tennis, winning bronze at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021.

We’d like to thank everyone who came along and their generosity throughout the night supporting people with a spinal cord injury. We look forward to seeing our regular and new guests at our 22^nd Sports Quiz Dinner in April 2023.”
