Sporting fans of the North West came out in full force for the 13^th annual Aspire Sports Quiz Dinner held on Thursday 10^th November at the Renaissance Hotel, Manchester. Hosted once again by BBC Sports’ Rob Nothman, this was one of our biggest ever dinners ever with over 280 guests in attendance. The overall champions on the night were the Leigh Day table.

The amazing Michelle Mudhar was the guest speaker on the night and gave an inspiring account of her life with a spinal cord injury after a climbing accident in 2015 left her paralysed from the waist down. She was fully supported by her employer, Atkins Global who were also in attendance at the dinner.

Aspire would like to thank everyone who took tables or donated to the event. The Gold table sponsors included PNC Business Credit, Grosvenor Casinos, 18 St Johns Street Chambers, Clyde & Co, Leigh Day and CBRE.

Also on the night, Aspire were delighted to receive cheque presentations from two fantastic supporters of the charity.  Atkins Global, who participated in the Great Manchester Run in aid of Aspire, presented a cheque for £3,080.

Andrew Murray Golf, a supporter Aspire for many years presented a cheque for £3,000, proceeds from their annual charity Pro Am.
