VIPs attend Le Mans Celebration Dinner Aspire and Hope for Tomorrow once again joined forces to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Le Mans 24 hours race, the most famous endurance motor race in the world. The event was held on Thursday 4th June 2015 at Clothworkers’ Hall in London. The drinks reception took place in the courtyard of the historic Clothworkers’ Hall, where a range of iconic Le Mans cars were on display. The evening then continued in the fabulous Clothworkers’ Hall itself, in the company of the drivers, with a three course French inspired dinner, driver Q&A’s and a charity auction.Hosted by motor racing pundit Jonathan Legard and with a Q&A by motor racing journalist Simon Taylor, guests were entertained by inspirational, witty and surprising anecdotes from the world of Le Mans from legendary drivers including David Richards CBE, Ross Brawn OBE, John Surtees OBE, Derek Bell MBE, Richard Attwood, David Brabham, Tony Brooks, Jackie Oliver, David Piper and Guy Smith. With other very special VIP guests including HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO and former England footballer and huge Le Mans fan Luther Blissett, this was an evening not to be missed for any motoring enthusiast. By attending this event, guests were supporting two national charities - Aspire and Hope for Tomorrow - with all proceeds being shared equally between them.
