Carer’s Credit

Carer’s Allowance

If you are looking after someone regularly for at least 35 hours a week who is getting either Personal Independence Payment daily living component, Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance care component at the middle or higher rate, you might be entitled to apply for Carer’s Allowance.

• You must be aged 16 or over
• You must not be studying for 21 hours or more per week
• You are not earning over £110 per week
