Facilities at the Aspire National Training Centre include:

  • A 25-metre swimming pool with ramped access for wheelchair users. With a water temperature of 31 degrees
  • A fully integrated Inclusive Fitness Initiative approved fitness studio.
  • A sports hall
  • Dance studio (national home to the internationally acclaimed integrated dance company Candoco).
  • Cafe for light meals and drinks.

 

The good practice at Aspire National Training Centre inspired InstructAbility - a national project to train disabled people as fitness instructors.  

With our deserved reputation for inclusive fitness, Aspire's expertise has been used by the NHS in their recent video.

The road to Outpatients department (OPD) has been re-opened and the temporary access road through the Lower Aspire car park to outpatients is no longer operating. . Access to for OPD traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights, operating a one-way traffic system.

Temporary bay parking at the bottom of the lower car park closest to the East-West access road remains in place. Please be aware that when parking here, wet weather may cause the area to become unpredictable so it is important you are aware of this before you decide to use these spaces.
