Great Run Series 2026

The AJ Bell Great Run Series has events throughout the UK for all ages and abilities across multiple distances. Their routes contain some of the UK's most iconic landmarks making every run an unforgettable experience. Run for Aspire and we'll supply you with an Aspire running top, training tips and advice as well as fundraising ideas and support.

The runs below are our favourites but don't forget there are so many more you can take part in for Aspire. 

AJ Bell Great Run series

AJ Bell Great Manchester Run - 31st May 2026

This hugely popular event starts and finishes in Manchester City Centre. On route you'll pass Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, the award-winning Imperial War Museum and The Lowry. You will also pass the famous cobbles of Coronation Street’s new set. Perhaps the most significant landmark will be Beetham Tower, the 47-storey skyscraper which almost marks the finish line for you!

AJ Bell Great North Run - 13th September 2026

Join 50,000+ runners starting in Newcastle City Centre and heading off towards the River Tyne. Crossing over the iconic Tyne Bridge, you may even catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows flying overhead, on through Gateshead until you reach the finish line on the coast in South Shields.

AJ Bell Great South Run - 18th October 2026

The perfect run for all abilities. The route is very flat and takes you through the iconic sights of Portsmouth and Southsea, including the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory, past Spinnaker Tower, finishing on the seafront with beautiful views of the Isle of Wight.
