  2. Regular Giving

Regular Giving

Regular Givers are supporters who donate on a consistent basis via Direct Debit. Regular giving allows us to budget and plan our future work more efficiently and help more people with Spinal Cord Injury go from injury to independence all year round.

Set up regular giving

You can set up a regular donation online, or download the regular giving form and return it to Aspire.

How regular giving helps us

Each year Aspire works with the 2,500 newly spinally injured people in the UK, providing practical support and advice. Maintaining this level and the quality of our services for increasing numbers of people with spinal cord injury costs over £2,000,000 each year.

All of these services are funded entirely from charitable income. Aspire's supporters have dreamt up hundreds of great ways to raise money, from organising karaoke to climbing Kilimanjaro. As successful and valuable as these fundraising events are, the stark reality is that every year our bank balance is reset to zero and we have to start again!

For every person Aspire helps to regain their independence, there is another person waiting to receive that same practical help. A monthly donation would allow us to continue our work.

  • A donation of £4 a month for 12 months would pay for an Aspire Independent Living Advisor to spend four hours with new patients.
  • A donation of £8 a month for 12 months buys a complete set of easy to hold cutlery for one of our Aspire Houses.
  • A donation of £12.50 for 24 months buys SmartNav technology to enable someone with a high level spinal cord injury to use a computer.

Gift Aid

Don't forget that if you are a UK tax payer, using Gift aid means that for every £1 you give, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go even further.

In order for Aspire to claim Gift Aid on your donations, you will need to download and complete a Gift Aid Declaration form.
