In September, Aspire was delighted to be a benefiting charity of Andrew Murray’s Pro Am for the seventh consecutive year.   Andrew Murray, the former European Open Golf Champion, invited golfers to join him for the charity golf tournament at Bramhall Golf Club in Stockport, Cheshire.

As well as the tournament, guests enjoyed brunch, an Ultrasonic Club Clean Service, the Paul Barrington Show and a celebratory presentation buffet.

Andrew Murray said, “We are always delighted to support Aspire as they are a lifeline to so many in difficult circumstances.  I was initially introduced to Aspire by Rob Nothman and Mark Pougatch, but the cause has remained close to my heart after someone very close to me was injured in a freak car crash in the USA.  She has gone on to be a GB Paralympian, and an inspiration to us all.”

Sinead Grimes, Aspire’s Corporate Events Manager, said “We would like to thank Andrew Murray for his support over the years and for once again inviting us to be one of three charities benefitting from the event.  The £2,000 raised for Aspire will help us to support people with Spinal Cord Injury to move from injury to independence.”
