On 15th June, we held the Aspire Sports Quiz Dinner in London, once again at the Tower of London.  Following a drinks reception in the moat in the glorious sunshine, the 450 guests were joined by the evening’s host, Aspire’s President John Inverdale, who talked about the photographs of iconic sporting moments he chose for his “A sporting life behind the microphone” exhibition held at Getty Images earlier this year.   Guests were given the opportunity to buy print on the night, which raised  £5,000.  If you are interested in seeing the collection or purchasing a print, please email [email protected].

Following a three course dinner, the inspirational Jerry Ward talked about his career in the air force, how he sustained his spinal cord injury and how Aspire Grants helped him purchase assistive technology equipment which enabled him to go back to work.   Click here to read Jerry’s full story.
