London Marathon runners raise £50,000 Last week, 15 runners took on the London Marathon for Aspire and between them they are on track to raise £50,000 to support people with Spinal Cord Injury. Andrew Ogierman, Challenge Events Manager, says, “It has been a real pleasure to support the Aspire team on their journey from marathon applicant last summer to marathon finisher on The Mall last Sunday. Each and every one of them has given their all, both in fundraising to help shape the lives of people paralysed by spinal cord injury and to achieve their own personal marathon ambitions, be that a quick time or just to finish. I hope the support given over the last few months helped along the way." If you are interested in running the London Marathon in 2020, the ballot is now open until Friday 3rd May. If you enter, please email [email protected] to let him know.
