Last year, Jane Bagust decided that she wanted fundraise in memory of her husband Lee Edward Terry. Because of the help that Aspire had given to her business partner, Reg Coote, she decided on a skydive to raise money to help others who have been paralysed by spinal cord injuries.

After several postponements due to bad weather, the day finally arrived in late September.  Just as Jane was waiting for her turn, they realised that she needed a medical certificate.  This wasn’t a problem, the airfield called a local GP who told her to come down and he’d sign the form for her.  Nothing unusual in that, except that Jane was dressed as Wonder Woman!  He was surprised to see Wonder Woman walk into his surgery, but was so impressed he sponsored her.

Thanks to her friends in the biking community and with great support from everyone at Unique Lifts, Jane raised an incredible £2,337.37!  This amount could pay for a lightweight wheelchair that could transform the life of someone with a spinal cord injury.

Jane said, “I find myself totally humbled by this experience! If my jump can help at least one person on the road to recovery that’s amazing! I believe random acts of kindness go a long way. To be a small part of that has been fantastic thank you.

A big thank you to all who supported such a great cause.”
